When ordering let us know what RPM you're looking to turn at wide open throttle straight and level, any engine mods and airframe mods including gear, throttle body, wing etc.
Higher level aerobatics we normally run a design RPM around 3000. Gentleman or Intermediate would be 2800-2900 RPM.
The three bladed will provide less load on the crank while doing gyroscopic maneuvers and your RPM won't come up as fast on a downline.
Hardware:
Some Pitts need an extension to clear the cowling, we can provide one for you. You will still need some additional hardware if you're able to mount directly on the engine. Our fixed pitch propellers require extended length lugs to protrude into the back of the propeller at least 3/8". You can swap the lugs in the crank (ETP) kit or run a 1" spacer and machined on the front are longer lugs.
Spinner:
We carry a 12", 13" and two 14" spinner options.
We do manufacture other props for the Pitts if you have a different engine, please inquire.
